We are also proud to partner with Indiana Musical Theatre Foundation to present Young @ Heart, an intergenerational theater workshop series for anyone age 12 and up.

Join guest artists Marissa Drew and Lily Canter as we step into Neverland for a high-energy stage combat fencing workshop inspired by the swashbuckling world of our upcoming Peter Pan and Wendy! Whether you dream of dueling like Captain Hook or darting about like the ever-fearless Peter, this workshop blends theatrical storytelling with safe, choreographed swordplay perfect for young performers.
No experience needed—just a sense of adventure and a willingness to shout “En garde!” Join us for an unforgettable journey where imagination takes flight, pirates clash with heroes, and every student gets the chance to shine in their own epic Neverland duel.
Note for Attire: Wear comfortable, unrestrictive clothing and non-slippery shoes that you can jump and roll around in. Black preferred. Avoid super loose items (like a cardigan) or knit fabrics that the foil could snag on. If you have them, bring lightweight sports gloves.

Youtheatre is excited to announce the return of this exciting camp experience in collaboration with the Embassy Theatre! Participants in LET’S PUT ON A SHOW! Kids Camp will do exactly that- PUT ON A SHOW! While auditions will be held for specific roles, everyone’s in the cast as experienced Youtheatre directors lead them through auditioning, rehearsing and performing Shrek The Musical KIDS! on the Embassy stage. Young performers will step into the wonderfully weird world of everyone’s favorite ogre, Princess Fiona, Donkey, and a whole storybook full of fairy-tale misfits as they learn to bring this beloved musical to life!

We’re all in this together! Youtheatre and the Embassy excitedly announce the second step in our LET’S PUT ON A SHOW! Camps with this JUNIOR edition for middle schoolers. Experienced Youtheatre directors and campers will turn the Embassy stage into the halls of East High as they learn to sing, dance, and act their way through one of Disney’s most iconic musicals, Disney’s High School Musical JR. We’ll build performance skills, build character development and master show-stopping numbers like “Get’cha Head in the Game.” Whether they’re aspiring Troy Boltons, budding Sharpays, or enthusiastic Wildcats, every camper will find a place to shine!

Step right up! This joyful camp introduces our youngest campers to the magic of theatre through a whimsical circus filled with clowns, jugglers, acrobats, animals and more. Campers will build confidence, stretch their imaginations, and learn the basics of acting in a supportive, laughter-filled environment with creative drama games, movement, music, and storytelling. A perfect intro to the world of theatrical imagination & play. Welcome to BEGINNING STAGES, where little actors take their first big steps! Morning and Afternoon sessions may be purchased together for a full-day camp experience.

Set sail for a week of creativity, laughter, and unpredictable fun. In this high-energy acting camp for elementary students, kids become explorers on a magical island where every challenge is solved with imagination. Through improv games, character creation, and teamwork-based storytelling, campers learn to think on their feet and shine with confidence. On Improv Island, anything can happen…and usually does! Can be paired with our FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD Camp for two full weeks of fun and creativity!

Lions, Scarecrows, and Tin Men—oh my! In this wizardly musical theatre adventure for grades 2–5, we’ll pick things up where that little girl with the braids touched down in Oz and started down the yellow brick road. Campers will step into a land where courage grows, friendships sparkle, and even the “wicked” characters might have a surprise or two. With singing, dancing, storytelling, and creative character work, campers will build confidence while helping bring a brand-new Oz adventure to life. Can be paired with our IMPROV ISLAND Camp for two full weeks of fun and creativity!

Become popular, discover what is this feeling, and much more for good at our “WICKEDLY” -themed Musical Theatre Camp for middle school and high schoolers! Performers will spend a magical week singing, dancing, and acting through iconic songs inspired by the Broadway and film phenomenon. From friendship and courage to finding your true voice, this camp celebrates everything that makes each performer wonderfully unique. No one is ever “too green” to begin. Our Shakespeare-centric Theatre Camp for middle and high school performers brings the Bard’s timeless, comic, romantic, and sometimes bloody stories to life through energetic monologues and scene work, voice and movement training, and imaginative character exploration. Whether they’re Shakespeare-heads or have never even read a sonnet, campers will unlock the power of classical text, discover the rhythms and wit of Shakespeare’s language, and perform pieces that prove these plays are anything but old-fashioned. All the world’s a stage…and this summer, it’s yours. Can be paired with our WICKED & WONDERFUL Camp for two full weeks of fun and creativity!
